C ANT CANCEL THE ORDER .I PERSONALLY CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND CONFIRMED IT HAD NOT BEEN STARTED I CALLED BACK CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEN RECEIVED AN E.MAIL THAT THE ORDER HAD BEEN SHIPPED SO I CANNOT CANCEL I VERIFIED AGAIN THE ORDER HAD NOT BEEN SHIPPED AND EVEN TO THIS DATE 4 DAYS AFTER THE E MAIL THE MANUFACTURES AGAIN CONFIRMED THE WHEELS ARE STILL AT HIS BUSINESS TRIED TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR AND ADVISED 1 TO 3 DAYS 4 DAYS LATER STILL NO CALL BACK

Carid is a waste of time and money!!

I placed an order 121623, (#4993****), and the first red flag should've been 2 different prices! 60.84 in the beginning, and then 79.03 after the customer service rep applied a "discount"!

But, I really needed the part and ever place else had them on back order.

I get an alert that fedex delivered the package 122423, and since it was a long weekend, I was out of town. The package was put in my mailbox, according to the photo, I get back in town tuesday, no package in the mailbox,I contact carid, they say "search around", I searched the property, no package. Contacted them again, they say "file a police report!". The police wouldn't file a report since it was left in the mailbox, instead of the porch, where fedex normally leave packages.

The police say "contact the post office!". The post office couldn't act, because it wasn't a package that was sent through the US mail!. Carid won't give me a refund or a replacement!, even though? I followed all of the steps on the carid website regarding replacements.

So I'm stuck paying for a part I never received.

The run around and buck passing. So I

plan to warn my social media groups and followers to avoid these people at all costs.

Warranty Claim Issue

CARiD - Warranty Claim Issue

CARiD sent me an email denying my warranty claim today HOWEVER, on 11 July 2023 Regina Garvey from the CARiD's support department told me this WAS covered by warranty and they would gladly replace it. I did not buy it from the other website but I bought it from this CARiD and was informed that they were covering it under warranty.

That email shows an expressed claim that the product is under warranty from the CARiD that I purchased it from and I would expect their promise to be honored.

CARiD then jerked me around for 3 months while my truck was down due to a malfunctioning item that they stated would be replaced. Had I known from the beginning that they would not replace it, I would have made other arrangement rather than having my truck sit for 3 months waiting for a warranty replacement. CARiD does not know how to treat their customers.

This is not the first time i have had issues with CARiD and that was logged under another BBB complaint. CARiD previously stated that although the issue was a manufacturing defect, they would not cover a replacement under warranty.

CARiD needs to understand that how they treat their customers after the sale is more important than how they treat them before and during the sale.

I will NEVER deal with CARiD given how they treat their customers. I would not recommend CARiD to my WORST ENEMY!

I ordered a part from these guys in about 3 hours later I canceled it and spoke to them they said everything was fine they even sent me an email saying so. Then these *** sent the part to me anyway and charged my wife's PayPal account.

After refusing the delivery that took three times from FedEx for them to get it right it finally was returned to car ID. Yesterday they refunded the money for the part but not for the shipping that was absolutely canceled. I don't like getting ripped off I get very upset about it because I'm a completely honest person.

Don't use these guys there a rip off and when I spoke to them the person I spoke to didn't know his right from his left. Doesn't matter how good their parts are if they're going to rip people off don't use them you'll be sorry or pissed off like I am and I will put ads all over the internet saying so so people stop using these clowns.

CARiD - Failure to deliver and communicate.
My order was canceled without giving me notification. After 10 days passed. Whenever my part was supposed to be delivered. I contacted the company only to find out that my order has been canceled. Then I was asked if I wanted a refund. How stupid is that? I shouldve been notified that the part wasnt available and I shouldve been issued an instant refund with notification without having to call 10 days after it was supposed to be delivered. I will not order from this company again.

I have been buying from Carid for several years until now. I received a shipment from them that had an incorrect part.

The return process has been nothing short of a fiasco. The error was not on my part, but theirs or one of their vendors. 3-4 days for an emailed shipping label, the time to get it returned and the correct piece to be shipped. When customer service was asked about a projected delivery date or time frame; I get a snippy email back from them.

After contemplating the snarky reply, I called back after 2 days(no email yet) and requested a refund. Add another 3-5 business days for the label to be sent to me, plus another 2 weeks getting a credit. You have to send them pictures of the incorrect parts, which I did as soon as they requested. The customer care is horrible, and unfortunately this will prevent me from purchasing from them ever again.

Sad, but evidently my business wasn't appreciated.

No one was even remotely concerned or cared to help with the problem. No more for me, I will purchase elsewhere in the future.

I ordered a part and chose a part because "CARID" said it would fit. They charge me $16 to ship it 46 miles.

I get the part, and its not even for my vehicle. I ask for a return, they refuse to give me return on the shipping since it was their screwup. They told me its my fault because I should of checked with the dealer if this is the correct part for my vehicle. So basically their policy is to lie to the customer, and overchage for shipping and only give money back on the product.

What a racket. Will be contacting the BBB and the state attorney's office on this one. Of course, dispute with the CC company also is in play. They said it would fit.

I needed headlights for my 1991 Jeep Cherokee. I seen what I wanted on CariD and I bought them. When I got them I was worried they wouldn't fit, even though the website said they would. Because that happens frequently. As soon as I opened the box I knew my worries were misplaced. They fit perfectly and I was extremely happy with the product and service.
