Carid - Shipment department sucks

Carid - Absolutely awful company and customer service
I ordered car seats covers for my daughters Jeep for her Christmas and they keep pushing the shipping date back. We ordered these seat on December 15 of 2018 and still have yet to receive them and when I tried to live chat to talk to someone they keep disconnecting me. Starting to believe this damn site is a scam for money. It shouldn’t take that long to send seat covers. We just want our order in j mean it was over 200$. NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Carid - Predatory shipping practices
I placed an online order from CarID and not until I got an email verification of the order did I realize that they tacked on an additional $250 in freight charges. I called immediately to cancel the order since it wouldn't ship until the next day. The excuse was that a cancellation takes '48 hours' to process and wouldn't happen in time and they had already charged my card. They eventually started to haggle with me with about refunding partial shipping costs of first $50, then $70, and finally $100, all of which shows they are capable of adjusting the card charge amounts. Complete BS, they give you the run-around until you just give up. Typical customer service in 2019.
Carid - Dishonest and poor service
Ordered a header panel for my pickup. Description was wrong on site. Carid told me to contact ford for the OE part number and would not refund shipping costs for exchange or refund. Very poor company, will never deal with them again. Paid extra for "certified fit" as well. A waste of money it would appear.
Carid - Dishonest Company
Ordered small part. Website said dozens in stock. Received notice item would be back ordered with option to cancel order. I proceeded with order, ETA 2 months. Estimated date came and went, no item, no contact. During 2 months waiting, checked website again and again, item still in stock! Called company - no information, manufacturer closed for the day. I pointed out that site says its in stock. No matter - no information, would you like store credit? *** no. Full refund. This is a dishonest company, dishonest site practices, doesn't like to give product, dosn't like to refund money.
Shame on me, searched Metro Molded door weatherstrip and up pops Fairchild brand. At the time it appeared perhaps Metro and Fairchild merged as many companies have in recent years, NOT. Should have taken the time to do more research, the product arrived in a very plain...Read more
