Avs II hood bugshield

I ordered and recieved this product..the fasteners that come with this are not capable of holding this on my truck..I was sent another set of fasteners same cheap plastic *** screws with shields like a toy..the shield fell off and scuffed my hood..this is a brand new honda ridgeline 2013..ok so I was naturally pissed..now they are giving me a hard time saying the manufacturer will not take it back if it isnt in brand new conditon..how can it be brand new if it fell off my truck.it has little bit of scraches on it same as when I got it.it wasnt in perfect condition..I should have sent it right back then..It has been 2weeks since I have this....the company doesnt stand behind the products they sell as middlemen..they are deceptive dishonest and I am going to getin touch with the BBB and attorney generals office to file a complaint..this company should not be allowed to operate in this countryperiod...dont ever use carid, and as far as AVS (Lund) they are getting rich selling cheap plastic ***..probably from china who knows..stay away from these companies..they are real A--------s

Lexani wheels from Carid

I had a horrible experience with Carid and Lexani. The wheels I purchased were out of round from the factory. The wheels would never run without shimmy at higher speeds no matter how many times they were balanced. Got the runaround on returns which took 8 weeks and several emails, most of which did not get responses. Finally received warranty wheels from Lexani. Warranty wheels were worse than originals. They were drilled twice for another car and one had plugs because they over drilled. Complete nightmare of a transaction. Spent as much on truing and balancing the wheels as the wheels themselves. Finally got a guy to shave the tires and balance them on the car to make it run with shimmy. Will never do business with Carid or Lexani again. Poor product. Poor customer service.

Worst service, terrible quality products

Finally got my replacement after almost a month.

I still recommend against giving Carid any business, they make too many mistakes costing their customers lost time & money.

They do not value customer satisfaction and their LEDs are over-priced & poor quality.

There are many BBB complaints against them yet many people including myself get fooled by their fancy website.

Do some research on Carid before ordering from them, you'll be glad you did.

I had many problems with Carid, it seems the number 1 requirement to work there is really low IQ! Sales people are some of the most *** people I have ever talked to. They never listen & make tons of mistakes! My order was screwed up twice. I was overcharged for brokerage fees & one the cheap LEDs I purchased conked & started flickering. When they sent me a replacement, I discovered I had to pay yet another brokerage fee. They offered a refund that takes a week! No thanks! This is pretty poor customer service & I will not be doing business with them again! Buyer beware!

False shipping commitments

I wish I had read all the complaints before I did business with carID. Similar to a lot of other customers, I too experienced false commitments for shipping and delivery. Upon placing the order I was told the item was in stock and would be shipped the next day and delivered before the end of the week. After waiting a week for delivery, I contacted them and was told the item was not in stock and would not be available for at least another week. I had to contact them to find out they product (trailer hitch) was not in stock and they didn’t know when it would ship. They offered to switch the product to another manufacture indicating they could get the order shipped the next day. Rather than canceling the order, with the understanding it would ship the next day I agreed not to cancel the order. Once again, the order didn’t ship for another 4 days. As of today two weeks later, I still haven’t received my trailer hitch. They also provided my information to a third party vendor (buySafe) to solicit business.

Still Standing in *** wondering where my Bumper is.

On 7/3/2013, I ordered a "Smittybuilt" front bumper from CarId (Pure FJ Parts). Two weeks later I was sent a message that the bumper would ship by 2/2014. So I canceled the PREPAID order and waited and waited and waited for the refund to my account. In the meantime, I ordered a Warrior Front Bumper to replace the Smittybuilt. Then I get a message that even though they billed my card, they couldn't process the order because of a "S' in my address. This took about a week to resolve,so I was waiting on the shipmentconfermation and I get a line of *** that Warrior is on a "built per order" which I could understand until I contacted Warrior Products direct. Warrior stated the they don't have CarId as one of there outlets. So I set here, a month later, still no bumper,(they said today that they received the bumper but it was damaged so they sent it back) I hope and pray that others read this as well as the other complaints about CarId. I know I will never do business with themor there other companies ever again. I am also contacted the BBB.

Order of car mats

I placed an order for car mats and was given an order confirmation number and a ship date quickly via email. I asked for a tracking number and they said I'd get one automatically. They told me it shipped via UPS and they would be sending it to me. Well a week (8 days) after I was told they shipped my product I called and asked once again for a tracking number. They told me they have one for me shortly and to hold on the phone. They never got back on the line. I then called back and told them if the mats had not already shipped to please cancel the order. They said they could assure me they had already shipped but would research where they were with UPS. The following day I get an email that my mats have shipped (on this day, a day after I told them to cancel the order and two weeks after I ordered them). I called once again and they made like they had never heard of me and told me they could not refund my money if I refused delivery of the package. They are lie, cheat and lie some more. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS.

Dash kit problem

Ordered a 300.00 dash kit for a new 2013 Honda CRV. When I received it today, the applicator adhesion pen was missing. I called right away to see what happened - was told maybe I had misplaced - really!, and the their customer service called the supplier to see what happened. They will send another one out that I will now not get till next Monday or Tuesday - alomost a weeks wait and I can now not install the kit over this long 4th holiday. I explained all they had to do was put it in UPS Priority mail for around $5.95 and I would have by Friday and the weekend - nop, could not do!!! What poor customer service.

TERRIBLE Service, Product and Shipping

The only good part of my experience with CarID was the amount of options they give you for seat covers. Everything went downhill as soon as I placed the order. About a week after I ordered my seat covers, I received a call to see why I am having my seat covers delivered to a location other than my billing address. The lady asked if I lived there, and why they're being delivered there. She then said she needs written confirmation that I am having them delivered at an alternate location. I started to lose my patience and told her to cancel my order. She put me on hold and said they do not need the extra verification. After that, it took 1 MONTH to received the product!!! Once I received the products, there were no instructions included. The covers are VERY difficult to install. At first I called them to see if I can return them because they were too small, but they were very rude and uninterested on the phone. They wanted me to email them a picture of the product, so I sent one. They replied by saying they are correct, I just have to pull the covers all the way down. I am a 5'11'', 200lb man and I had to put all of my strength into installing these things correctly. I started putting on the backseat covers, and one of the zippers broke before the cover was on the seat. There are no slots for my seatbelt buckle to go through (against the law??), and there are no instructions included, again. They still have not resolved the issues, and they certainly do not sound too concerned about doing so anytime soon. The service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I am a Sales Representative, and have a strong background in Customer Service. The service that I have received from this company is 100% unacceptable. Once my issues are resolved, I will NEVER do business with this company again. The owner/managers should be embarrassed.

Worst Company for customer service

Ordered corner lights for my truck two months ago. The lights were defected and I contacted CarID to have them replaced. They say they have an "easy return" but there was nothing easy about the process since I still don't have my replacement lights. I called several times and all they do is tell me the lights have been processed. I spoke to a supervisor and asked for a refund (because at that time the lights had not been shipped) and they said I was outside the 30 day refund window. I told him that it was only due to the fact that they have been screwing me around. So then today I find out that the part doesn't even come from their company like it appears and they would have to call a third party to ask for a refund on my behalf. I paid my money to CarID not a third party and I don't think they know anything about customer service. They state on their website that the item is "in stock" but what they don't tell you is that is isn't in their warehouse. Also it states on the website that they have easy refunds, but they lie. They only talk in circles when you are trying to get a resolution and further *** you off. I will never buy another item from this company and would encourage anyone thinking about doing it not to!!!!

I see that you received the replacement lights successfully on May 2.

For clarification, a warranty is a promise to repair or replace a defective item within a designated period of time. A refund is not considered a warranty resolution. Since the manufacturer is the issuer of the warranty, it is necessary that we go through them for warranty claims. I apologize if this caused you any confusion.

What a mess of an order

Well, after a couple of weeks the new cover showed up today. The *** put this one together the same way!!

DO NOT buy a Coverking and stay AWAY from CarID!!! I will now file a complaint with the attorney generals office in the state of Florida. Enough is enough. When I put the new cover on I thought I was seeing things.

Unreal. It's now been months and I'm still dealing with it.

First they backordered mine for weeks. Then I got it and they sewed it together wrong! One piece was sewed in against the grain to save material so it doesn't match the others. This is not a $69 cover but a $500 cover so I am sending it back. To get another "before" I send it back they want another $500! So I have a grand in this cover and still have a goofy looking one. I guess we will see how long it takes to get the new one this time and if it's put together correctly. The customer service man is nice but when he was out sick this issue sat for a week with no reply. Are they a one man show? Before CarID got into the picture I ordered coverking covers and was totally satisfied. Now all I have is issues. I never did hear from Coverking's customer service.

Well the mfg. refused to do anything about it but CariD send me a $50 check and a $25 gift certificate (like I'll ever use it).

But the cover will get fixed here locally and I'll forget I know either one of these companies. Don't make the mistakes I made and but a custom cover from them.

2007 Cadillac DTS

on May 14th 2013 I ordered from Dan at CarID a set of fender trim for my car. I received the set close to Memorial day, The parts were labeled "2000-**** Deville and were all four dented. I called Doreen Anderson who told me I HAD to submit photos, my VIN. After I did she asked for pics of the container, the pics of all pieces. She was not available after that. I then spoke with Anthony, and three other "Customer Service personnel". I finally got my money back,I strongly suggest other merchants who are not flagged by the BBB. R Gutierrez

Purchased wheels bait and switch

I purchased wheel from them because I thought they had a nice site. If only I would have read the reviews before. After taking my money they waited a week and totally tried to sell me something I didn't even want. I cant get a refund either. I am having to call the credit card company to get my money back. Do not buy from them or you too will be scammed. They were so nice when I called once that I finally got thru that is. There are other sites out there that don't seem to have these same problems

Never buy from CARID. Worst ever....

After 3 months of waiting for my wheels to arrive they arrive. With the wrong lug nuts. After another 3 weeks for the lugs, the wheels they sent do not fit. And for some reason all they can do is blame me for everything. All I wanted was an exchange or refund, but NO, they are unwilling to do anything but blame me the customer. This company is unwilling to stand behind their products and has no customer service. I buy a lot of items online, and this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I can tell by their service they will not be around for long, they suck... NEVER BY FROM THIS COMPANY.....

Bad customer service and horrible on shipping

I ordered rotors on Monday, they said it would take 1-2 days to go out, I said okay. Called the next day and was like you know what I really need these rotors have they gone out yet, lady said no they haven't was really nice and everything, I said okay, well if it hasn't gone out today it should go out tomorrow so I paid of overnight shipping when I called on Tuesday thinking it would be here on Thursday.

Looked on the website on Wednesday at 4PM EST and no shipping info so I called and was like hey where's my stuff. The lady said it will be delivered on Friday, I said wait hold up what? I paid for overnight shipping on TUESDAY! she started getting snippy with me so I was like may I speak with your supervisor - she says there aren't any available.

So I say I expect my stuff (i said *** on the phone - I was pissed) on Thursday.

Call back 5 mins later to try to speak with someone nicer after I calmed down and the guy tells me that I spoke with an agent 10 mins ago and said that I was willing to wait until Friday! I just hung up the phone - I will make a complaint to the BBB and if I don't get my stuff tomorrow, well lets just say I'm a lawyer with anxiety issues.

SUV Car Cover DOES NOT FIT

On March 24, 2013 I received a custom seat cover for my 2011 Chev Tahoe 2nd row seat. They did not fit, were way to small. I called customer service and they requested I send them pictures of them not fitting so they could forward on to find out what the issue was with the manufacture. Today is May 21, 2013 and after working with 3 customer service reps and re-sending my pictures 4 times I have gotten no where. I have been asking to speak to a manager for over a month and they just say they guarantee a manager will call me back. I would NEVER EVER recommend that any car cover products be ordered from CARiD!
