Ordered Spyder Headlights, Taillights and Fog Lights for my '07 Ram. Headlights arrived as promised. Taillights were "delayed", but still arrived in a reasonable time frame. All look and fit great. Here's where the problem arises. The order was placed on 29 Dec 14. Today is 26 Mar 15. I still have not received my "In Stock" fog lights. Was told it is a "Manufacture Item", whatever that means. Recently received an email from "Nicole" about possible substitution choices. Naturally the only choice was a $13.00 up charge. Figured "what the heck" and agreed to the new "In Stock" item. It's been now 4 days, no confirmation that the process of making the money right has even started. Thank god I used PayPal for the purchase, so I'm not out the additional $ yet. AND, surprise!!, get an email that the substitution item is NOT actually "In Stock" and won't be shipped until 15 May 15! 5 months??? This site is becoming a joke. Question is, what will they do when the Attorney General in Jersey is made aware of their shady practices. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you're in a rush.

Ordered new light covers for my 2008 Chevy Colorado

So I had ordered new headlights and tail lights. First I was told that I would have my items in 2 days. so the 2 days go by, I received nothing. So I went online to track my order to see where it was. There was nothing then I find out that 1 of my items was placed on back order because it was a made to order item, even knowing I was told that it was in stock. they then send me and email saying that it was delayed several days after. then I contact customer service through the live chat to see what all the issues were with my order. my message was then sent back to me saying there was issues with it which there was nothing wrong with it because I then messaged them again the next day the lady who helped me was very nice and very helpful. I told her I wanted my money back and to cancel my order. in a matter of minutes I received an email saying that my order was canceled and a few days later I received a refund for 2/3 of my parts. and I received another email saying that 1 item shipped before the cancelation was processed so I was like okay ill just keep that part. so 2 weeks later I receive the halo projector headlight that was the most expensive item at $191.67. when I open it, it was the corner lights that I was told was put on back order, an item I had already been refunded for. so when I contacted customer service yet again the lady this time was very rude. she was trying to get me to keep the item and not refund my money after telling her several times that I did not want anything from this company she finally said that she needed a picture to prove that I was not lying. I was not happy about this because there is no reason that I would spend time contacting her. so to anyone deciding to use this company, stay away this is a very bad company, no one knows what is going on and they falsely advertise there items, they over charge for shipping and they try to tell you things are out of stock AFTER they already took your money and try to sell you something else.

No Customer Service, sold me defective rims and I have to prove there is a problem....Run, don't order from CarId.com

I ordered four rims on March 28, paid for over night delivery and was told they would arrive Monday March 30. Monday comes, no delivery, called customer service, was told they would arrive Tuesday. Tuesday no delivery, I call, they say, a mistake was made, they were not shipped over night, they will arrive April 3. April 3, no delivery. When I ordered the rims they said they were in stock, when the rims finally arrived they were drop shipped from the manufacturer in California. I took the rims to Firestone who installed the rims and new tires. When I drive away the steering wheel begins shaking. I go back to Firestone, they take the tires off and tell me that the rims are defective, they are not symmetrical.... I call customer service, I talk to Catarina, who tells me I need to take pictures and a video of the wheels. Which would show what? Would that show the vibration that occurs now when I drive the car? She doesn't listen to anything I say, I give her the phone number of Firestone so they can explain the problem. Before our call is finished I ask her to call me back before the end of business today, she agrees. Surprise, surprise, she does not call. So I guess CarId things that I am lying, that I have nothing better to do than to complain about rims that I need on my car. They don't care if the customer is happy, that became very clear, I have to prove to them that there is problem. Yesterday they told me that I have to take the car to a special shop to have the front wheels tested to see if there is a problem. So now, I have to take off work, have the wheels tested to prove to them that there is a problem, which Firestone has already confirmed. Then how long will I have to wait to get the new rims for the front wheels????? This is a joke, they will tell you anything to get your order but if there is problem, they could careless. So I guess now I have no choice but to contact my credit card company and stop payment on the order. My order number is 1227****. When you spend over $1400 on an order, and the product is defective, you would think the company would do what ever it takes to make it right, their attitude is that they could care less about the inconvenience and lost time that this is going to cost me. I have already talked to a relative who is a lawyer, who will be pursuing this matter. This is not right and I will pursue it, no matter how long it takes.less

Fraud at it's best

Ordered brake items with calipers & PADS listed as an assembly. After items shipped, no pads. Wasted 4+ hrs. on the phone waiting for callbacks. One service rep states pads & return labels for calipers are to be shipped Monday. Another service rep states that she cannot call California to find out anything because they are 3 hrs. behind us but will call back. Never called. Every call claims due to high volume of calls we will have to put you on a callback list. 5th call led us to find out "manufacturer states pads are not included" even though it is CLEARLY LISTED in the item description. I am still waiting for the return labels for the caliper core charges. I am going to assume that my chances of getting my core charge refunded is pretty low. I believe that I will take this battle to their listed corporate office in Cranbury, NJ since I live within 15 Minutes of them. A little corporate shaming with a streetside sign might be in order. Pretty sure that will be another story!

Worst company ever

CarID is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I ordered my headlights in January and it is now may and I still have yet to receive them. Every time I call customer service they are closed. But if I call to place an order, guess what? They answer! Funny thing how they will be glad to take your money, but won't answer for customer service. The shipping rates are completely obnoxious for the amount of time it takes to receive the products, and the "company" is a complete joke. I will never recommend this horrible company nor will I ever be placing an order with them again.

Ahead of ordering aftermarket fog lights made for my vehicle, I contacted customer service so they could verify it would fit including the switch. They confirmed it did, so I ordered the lights. I installed the lights and to my surprise, the switch did not fit. I contacted customer service and they first tried to tell me it wouldn't fit until I forwarded their email that said it would. Then they told me it was outside of their return policy. At this point, I didn'the want to return them since it was installed-just wanted a switch that would work. They offered a $15 gift certificate which does me no good because they don'the sell switches and there wasn't anything on their site I could get for $15 shipped that I needed. I asked instead for them to refund $15 which is about 10% of the purchase price so I could use that to buy a switch that would work at another store. They refused. I will never buy from this site again. I would give them zero starts if I could.

Purchased tires and rims 03/03/15 and haven't even shipped out yet.

I ordered Fiero No.1 Red Strip rims with tires last Tuesday (03/02/15) and the have been processing ever since (03/12/15). I have sent 4 e-mails asking about the order status, called twice and waited for over a half an hour.

I sent them a very long e-mail and left them a very long message in their customer service phones. I'm in the process of cancelling the order and if I don't receive a refund of 1,100 dollars I will be contacting the bank and telling them the situation.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. Nothing but liars and thieves.

Hey man, I'm in the same situation you're in right now, actually strangely the exact same situation (Ordered same day, also spent 1100 on rims and tires.) Just wondering if you have resolved it or could tell me some steps I could take on getting my money back. Thanks in advance.

I called them and asked about the status of my order- call the toll free number and it is the third extension. So when they ask you if you know your parties extension- it's 3.

Then you select an existing order and then tires and rims. When they answer (if they answer) ask what your order status is. And then after they check on it, ask if that employee has the ability to cancel and refund your order and be very stern about wanting ALL of your money back. When I did this, they tried to sell me another set of tires and rims.

I said no. It took about 3 days toget my money back.

Before I made a order for my truck I called Carid to make sure that the part would fit my truck. the salesperson told me it was the right part the following day I ordered it after ordering I felt a little strange so I start doing some research found out the part does not fit my vehicle I called them back after I ordered as if somebody can help me to see if that's the right part I told yes it would I left it go I did a little more research online finding out the parts still didn't fit I called them back once again they told me it would and they would get back to me after they call the manufacturer who makes the part to make sure fit my vehicle never received the call back so I called the manufacturer who made the part they told me it would be no way it would fit my truck so I called up cancel the order they told me it was shipped so I told them I need to get the right part they were supposed to give me a return postage email to me the day of the unit was supposed to be delivered never got it so I refused told UPS driver to send it back called them up told him I did that and now I'm finding out there going to charge me for sending it back and the part that they're going to send out to me to replace the part that was wrong they're going to charge me shipping on that I don't think so this company sales people needs to be trained on how to know the parts for peoples vehicles I was in sales and let me tell you this left a bad taste in my mouth and I will post this every site that I can to let people know not to buy from you guys

ps The right part will not be sent until they received the wrong part that was sent to me so now I have to wait an additional week or 2 weeks before I receive my part nice going guys GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT !!!!!!!!! oh by the way CARID here is my email if you like to contack me and here is the email that I used to order the part

Front seat covers for 2015 honda sedan

I order the pleatherette seat covers. They came in one piece per seat. It took my husband and brother-in-law over 2 hours to install. The seats were not tight fitting at all like it shows in the photos. The upper portion of the seat back gaps out and the bottom seat cover does not fit properly either. I am very disappointed with these seat covers. Definitely NOT work $250. The instructions were one page, on both sides and were very generic. Not custom printed for my Honda Accord 2015 seat covers. I am so glad I did not get the leather seat covers and also so glad I didn't get the seat covers for the back seats!!!!

(1/23/15) This is an update to my previous review:

Ordered on 1/13/15 and was told by phone sales rep and email confirmation the est. ship date was 1/15 and when I called to get tracking in on 1/15, I was told that this item is a "Manufactured Item" and it always take 5 to 7 days to ship out and ship out date was changed to 1/21.

I called on 1/21 to get tracking info and the est. shipping date was changed again to 2/9/15.

I don't understand how these people stay in business....probably launch a new website whenever business stops receiving orders. By the way, ONYX Enterprises (www.onyxenterprises.com) is the main company.

Do not spend your hard earned money with these idiots!!

I can only assume the parts are coming from China and they are pretty much lying to every single customer.

Just Horrible...worse than the worst eBayer!! I placed an order over the phone, because the website shows one picture in the description and a different picture when I added the item to the online shopping cart. The customer rep tells me that the item should ship out within 2-3 days and I also got an email stating that the estimated ship date is on 1/15/15 (2 days after order date 1/13). I called on Friday because I did not get a tracking number and the customer rep tells me they are a drop-ship company and will have to call the manufacturer...after several minutes on hold, I was told he could not ahold of the manufacturer and that he would send me an email with an update...which I never got. I called the following Monday and they tell me that it's a "Manufactured product" and it takes 5-7 days to ship-out and it will not ship until 1/21/15 from Mexico, not California where they originally stated the item will ship from. Then I asked to speak to the manager who basically called me a liar, because their service reps are trained properly and would not have told me it would have ship out in 2-3 days, because it's a "Manufactured Item" and that the email I received is an automated email, which goes out for all orders. Am I suppose to decipher through what the service rep tells me (will ship out of California within 2-3 days) and the automated email which corresponds with what the service rep told me? The conversation with the manager ended becoming an argument where he gave me a choice of cancelling my order or order something else, if I didn't want to wait for the item to ship. After reading the reviews online, it seems that this behavior is common with this company...If I had known this, I would have never spent money with this company. Companies like this should be put out of business by will of customers. I would never recommend this company to anyone

Just placed my first order with these guys and my story reads as if it's an EXACT script from the review 584147 above. I'm on hold now to talk with a supervisor.

If I ever get someone to answer I will be canceling my order and will never order from them again and recommend no one does.

Unless you like frustration and being lied to.... Sometimes a lower price just isn't worth it!

They sent my car cover to the wrong house, I found out after UPS tracking stated that it was 'delivered'. I call CarID and they representative suggested that I drive to the house that they mistakenly sent it to and ask for my product...unbelievable, I told them that this was not my mistake and I should not have to go knocking on a stranger's door to clean up their mess. After all, I did PAY for the unreasonably expensive rates of UPS to ship the product to my door. They finally agreed to send it back and after a few days it still didn't arrive so I requested a refund for the 'shipping'. I still haven't received a reply. I did receive the car cover, it was obviously opened by the incorrect recipient and the contents were shoved carelessly back into the box with opened pieces and a manual that looked like it came out of a washing machine. In short, CarID sucks!!!

Lied to me!

Friday 12/12/2014 at 8:24 am I placed an order with carid total bill 286.61. I immediately received an email confirming the order. Both items were listed as in stock and the website states 24-72 hours to ship. At 10:00 am that same day I got another email with estimated ship date of 12/16 for one product and 12/17 for the other. Today 12/19 I called at 10:30 am to check status because their online tracking still showed the same estimated ship dates but no shipping info. I was told that they would have to check with the manufacturer and they would email me the info. What I got was another order confirmation but no shipping info. I called back again. This time I was told the items were on back order and may not be available until the end of January. Now keep two things in mind. One, this was for a Christmas present and although close should have had time to get here in time. Also keep in mind that both of these back ordered items were showing as available on the website and are still showing that way now. I asked if I had been charged already and the lady said no. She said they placed a hold on the money. I told her to cancel the order. I called my bank and found out that they had in fact CHARGED me and it may take 2 days to get it back. I called carid again and asked to speak to a manager. I was placed on hold for 22 minutes and never got to speak to a manager. Needless I am not happy at all with carid. I will be encouraging all of my friends to NEVER order anything from these people and I will be posting this little story on every shopping review site I can find and be reposting and sharing it on Facebook every chance I get until I get my money back. I worked in many sales jobs. Anyone in retail will tell you that a happy customer might tell 2 people about your business. An unhappy customer will tell at least 10. My goal is to make sure that at least 10000 people see this and see just how carid handles their business.

Hi if your looking to buy a set of wheels for your ride stay away from this company. I wish I would've read the bad reviews then I wouldn't of ordered through them. I ordered a set of 20 inch niche targa sport wheels for my chevy in the middle of March I received my wheels via ups April 7th I inspected the wheel while the driver was still there and 1 wheel had a nick on the machine face so I refused that one wheel this company gave me such a hard time because I refused the wheel I spoke to 5 different people and got a different answer from them all!! Bunch of god dame liars long story short after reporting them to the BBB which I have no clue how they are on there list!! I then had to threaten them with a small claims law suit what a miserable wheel buying experience. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM this company they will *** you around.
