I ordered some brake rotors for my car that CARID's website said would fit my make/model. Well after I get the wheels and old damaged rotors off, guess what doesn't fit... I've been dealing with CARID's customer service for nearly a month trying to return the rotors I bought. I sent them pictures, my VIN number, pictures of the box label, everything and they still haven't allowed me to return them. Next time I'm buying from Amazon or RockAuto.

I put an order on 3/6 midnight, and call them to make a cancellation on 3/7 6:00am. They confirmed the item is not shipped yet, shocks could be cancel but not the wheels. Ok fine, I received the cancellation notice on the shocks. And after a week I do received the item I requested for cancellation,they confirmed that the cancellation was somehow denied. It costs me $119 to return. Terrible company, would never purchase again. I am sure will share my story to other car enthusiast.

Supposed to be combined shipping. One part came in. I called to ask why. They told me to think logically. That the parts were from two different manufactures (not my problem!). So how could they combine shopping. I said, logically, your employees are either stupid or lying!!! For assuring me they would be combined! They just try to make the issue the consumers fault! BAD BAD BAD!!!

Offers services then fails to deliver

Web page showed they would overnight ship my order if placed within 5 and a half hours, so I placed the order well within that time frame. Even called them to order instead of ordering online and asked the customer service rep several times if the overnight shipping offer was valid or not. He repeatedly said it was correct and the parts would arrive the next day. Spoke with a customer service rep later in the day when checking on the order status and was told they DO NOT ship overnight. WTH??? So instead of being on the road the next day, I am stuck for at least another day. I will NEVER order from CARiD or any of it's affiliates EVER again.

Dear Lebarron, Thank you for getting back to me. The refund $75.00 can be processed without the return to keep the front bumper and work with it locally.

Extreme Dimensions techs cannot deem the part defective since the rebar needs to be removed to make the part fit correctly. As all if not most aftermarket parts including made by other manufacturers as well will sometimes require removal or modifications of the rebar. Still, if you prefer to keep rebars installed, the alternative option may be trimming behind the bumper where the vent is, to not have it touch when slid back more. This is one of the alternative modifications that can be done for proper fitment of the front bumpers.

If you prefer to send the front bumper back, I will be able to refund $101.70 - the price for the part, $190.00 is our shipping cost it is not refundable unless parts are deemed defective buy the manufacturer or if the wrong part sent. We pay this amount to the carrier to deliver the parts, you can ship the part back via any carrier you prefer. Look forward to hearing form you soon. Apparently, CARID watches a site called sitejabber and replies only to this site. Put a review on there and they will contact you! Here's mine: https://www.sitejabber.com/users/lebarrond I got a reply and they are attempting to resolve the issue after 5 reps told me "No!" Although it isn't the outcome that benefits me the most..it is a compromise.

So after a LOT of back and forth the website says the the bumpers are for "Show" so they are selling these things knowing they won't fit. The manufacturer said I have to take the reinforcement bar out to make this fit.

Bad bad business. Please don't make the same mistake I did and give carid your money.

I tried to put the bumper on and it doesn't Fit. Despite the original issue being that they took forever to re-send the part and me having to reschedule everything this is what they tell me when I asked for a return auth.:Dear LeBarron,Thank you for contacting CARiD.com!We apologize for the troubles occurred.

Please forgive me as this is a little upsetting because your shop took over a MONTH to replace and correct the original part which was cracked which I had the mechanic lined up for originally and could have told you within the 30 days that it was a fitment issue if I had the original part when I ordered it and I had to reschedule the appointment for installation.

So a little grace on being a day late on notifying you that there is an issue shouldn't be to much to ask as it seems you can take forever to correct a problem, but to not afford the same courtesy to customers seems a little egregious and yesterday was a holiday. The issue is with the back bumper and the mechanic didn't install the front bumper, but they came together.

After being told to pretty much "Deal with it" the bumpers FINALLY came on Jan 18. This time the box was in tact.

Any activity in response to this review?...NOPE nothing. They don't care that they wasted my time. They don't care that now that they wasted my time my car is unusable because the registration expired while waiting on them(yes I know it's my responsibility to take care of registration, but had they delivered the part when I ordered it or corrected it promptly I would have had this resolved in time to get the DMV to inspect the car after the accident and re-register my car)!

Do they care that I have spent countless hours dealing with this mess? NO all they know is they have a "process" and no humanity.

After waiting and basically being called a liar, I still had to wait longer for the Manufacturer to tell CarID I wasn't lying...which like I stated before IF I was asking for a refund...maybe you could get suspicious, but I wasn't I just wanted a new part AND if I took the part and THEN tried to return it maybe that would be a good argument also...but I never took the shipment after inspecting it. Anyway I called back today (1/3/2019) and had the pleasure of speaking with Kerrie...Car ID, YOU SHOULD GIVE HER A RAISE.

Even though she couldn't give me any additional discount or expedite shipping any further she LISTENED and TRIED to see if anything else was available to compensate for all the weeks of lost time. Long story short they are sending out new parts Monday after 3 weeks of waiting.

Ordered a front and back bumper from them. The initial shipping was flawless and came quickly, but I noticed there was a crack in the bumper before the freight guy left so I refused the package. 2 weeks go by and car ID still hasn't sent the part out. So I call and they said that the freight carrier said there was no damage so now they have to wait on the manufacturer to inspect the part and determine if they are sending a new one. Now I'm at the mercy of the manufacturer to make a determination on whether to send this same part out or to send me another part once they see the damage. Car ID said sorry for the inconvenience with a $15 gift card...after I drop $400 on parts and shipping $15 is supposed to make it better? Not to mention the lost appointment with my body shop to install and the wasted time on the phone with these clowns. I still don't have a bumper and after calling the carrier, who said they delivered the part on 12/27, and speaking with the manufacturer (Extreme Dimensions), who said that Car ID doesn't need anything from them to send out a new part and after the run around from Car ID refusing to let me speak to a manager and telling me the only recourse is to wait. I asked them what are they going to do after they are at fault...they said "send out another part for free". ITS NOT FREE IF YOU GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR!!!!

I ordered 560.00 of product from carid. headlights, taillights, and a third brake light.

Carid failed to notify me that the head lights were back ordered until mid december . I only found that out because of my call to customer support! The tail lights came defective and they refuse to refund me or replace the defective items. I asked them to replace the tail light and refund me for the head lights, again they refused stating I have installed the light so they are used and cant be returned!??

WTF?? how do they expect me to find out they are inop? horrible company, if I ran my business like this I would be out of business.

I have a claim in with paypal and they still have done nothing! Shame on Carid!!!

bought a brake booster on 1/10/19 with the understanding i would have it 1/11/2019. were a business and its a customers vehicle part. Friday nothing call them up. oh were putting it in the box right now and you will have it sat or Monday. Monday nothing. called again. we shipped it out and you will have it on 1/17. my customer is pissed, i could have had it from other suppliers for Monday guaranteed. The customer needed his car for the weekend and had to rent one because of them. we have a ticked off customer. there excuse is the shipping times are just a estimate. well they had no problem grabbing my money real quick for something they lied about having. they say i wont get a refund until i ship the part back to them. i want this payment stopped, this company is a fraud. i buy over 400,000 in parts a year and thought i found a good source. boy was i misled.

CARiD “WORST” company EVER!!

CARiD is the company. I ordered rims and tires back in the beginning of October.

It’s now the middle of January and I still don’t have a complete order delivered. I initially received all four rims and tires and three were damaged. I was told to repackaged them which cost me $46 for materials. I repackaged them and sent them back.

After several weeks I finally was told I would be recovering the replacements. Five weeks later they sent me three back with two of them being damaged. At this point I have two good rims and tires and once again I had to repack and send of two rims. Month in a half later I receive two rims and tires.

One of them having a small scratch I decided to keep that one and send the dented one back. I waited two weeks for them to pick up the last rim and waited another month for them to send back the replacement. Before sending it they email me telling the order has been fulfilled and they currently don’t owe me another rim. Furious, I called them and was on hold for over an hour when they told me they would contact me when they figure it out.

Three days later I get a notification that a tire sensor was on its way according to the shipping label. I call and to verify and they had to resend me the correct order. It’s not mid January and I receive my final rim and tire with the incorrect tire pressure sensor. It’s complete different then all the others.

Cosmetically it stands out like a sore thumb. The only one of the pair. Also the rim is damaged just like the other rims prior. CARiD claims it is the shippers fault.

I know for a fact they are scamming UPS. Ever package that sent that packages with shrink wrap cardboard and box tape. The outside was NOT damaged in anyway but yet they insist on filing a damage claim with UPS. I can’t sit back and allow CARiD to fraudulently filing damage claims agains UPS.

I have tried to speak with someone in charge at CARiD but they never let me. Something need to be done.

Tried To Rip Me Off & Admitted It!

OK, so I order some brake pads & rotors (almost $300 worth) which sated clearly "FREE SHIPPING". Next day I get an email stating the made a mistake and shipping is an additional $102!

I immediately canceled the order and purchased elsewhere. Meanwhile I get a phone call from a rep saying they made a mistake and were sorry for "deceiving" me! Nice. I ordered the exact same parts somewhere else turns out for LESS $ and I already have them, problem is I receive my bank statement and they never reversed the charges so now I contact PayPal & next day find an email from Carid showing a cancellation finally and in 3-5 days I "should" see my credit!

The only thing this company has going for it is excellent SEO so they come up first almost every time one does an internet search for an auto related product! I for one will NEVER deal with these shysters again & will be sure to tell my fellow automotive enthusiasts to stay away as well!

No matter how big or small the issue is they simply do not care and will tell you anything to get you off the line. They do not read the notes on the file for your contacts with the co. Ordered a part that came in the wrong color. Back in August - their fault not mine here we are in Jan and after numerous e-mails and aggravating phone calls - I canceled the order as they said it was not manufactured as of yet , could not tell me after 5 months when and if the parts would be shipped. I have spent literally 20 + hours trying to resolve the issue. There are so many good companies selling auto parts - do your self a favor and call some one else -- M Leif

Purchased some Konig wheels. Found for a cheaper price at a local store. I just wanted to return the wheels back to CARiD. I called and they told me that I would have to wait for return labels. I told her that I was going to refuse delivery and she threatened me with me with n addition $100 that I wouldn’t get back on top of the return postage and “restocking fee”. I only got back 67% of what I originally paid. I called back and she told me that I would have to wait for return labels. Something about she couldn’t help me anymore. What a joke. Don’t buy unless you are positive it is why you want. Such a hassle!!!!

Great Products and Pricing; LOUSY delivery

Ordering the items that I wanted was a good experience. However, CarID needs to insure that shipping is a must and only hire company's that deliver what they preached. This is the second time that CarID shipped a product to me using Oak Harbor Freight Lines. This ios the second time that this company sat on my supment in the Sacramento Freight office for three days before moving it to Fresno, CA, when in fact I know that they have a two-day delivery window. CarID doesn't seem to care once they make the sale of their items as they told me to call Oak Harbor (which I did and all I got was "it 'should' be delivered by Wednesday of this week") and again, they lied stating that their drivers do not drive on weekends (I am a retired Frieght Line Driver). Because receipt of the item(s) was important as I have a contract to deliver 5th wheels to various RV dealerships) I cannot make my appointment scheduled for tomorrow and will loose $150.00 per day. Thanks CarID . . . I'm pretty sure their are other compamies out there that I can deal with that are interested in customer satisfaction.
