"I ordered a set of wheels and tires from carid.com. They look great only a couple weeks to receive them. I am completely unhappy with the lug nuts I received, they are just a steel (not chrome) lug nut that should be under a hub cap not a custom chrome wheel for everyone to see. I called carid and talked to 2 different tire and wheels reps and they both said that's what you get, and the picture you see of the lugs nuts are for illustration only. I spent almost 2 grand there and for a $35 set lugs they will never get myself, friends and families business. I have to go out a buy my own set of chrome lug nuts. Beware"

Ordered a control head for Ac. It fried a copper line in the ribbon the second time I turned it on. It took them 3,weeks to get an approval to return another 10 days to get my part back to me after I shipped the faulty part and provided tracking number to then. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM IF YIOU HAVE TO RETURN IT TAKES MINIMUM 1 month to get a good part!!!!!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!

I ordered a hood and a carrier did not let me open the box to see if it was damaged so I put on the paper that I will except it on one condition if there’s damage I can return it. So when I open the box it was damaged I called car ID and they did not want to refund me my money. The lady Sam that’s a supervisor refused to hear my story so now I’m stuck trying to get thisTaken care of. I will never buy anything from this company they are not a reputable company. I’m in the middle of trying to get a very simple order to my door. I buy online all the time and this has been absolutely the worst experience ever. I’ll update once this pans out. I just wanted to warn everyone not to buy from this company. Even if they end up working it out with me, don’t buy anything from them!!

Lumen - Black/Smoke LED 3rd Brake Light Item # 90704****. Came in USED with the with the harness plug already cut off and the ground wire was not soldered to the light. The Plastic firm was already removed from the light. I received it on a Saturday and call that day for a return the item. They told me it would be sent the on monday and all is good. I called on Tuesday to get a tracking number and found out they had not sent it yet because they were needing a photo of the light, a photo of the box, an explanation of the damage and my vin#???? Im returning the light and will order from a different company. This company is a joke.

Horrible shipping, can't no one from customer service tell me why my package haven't shipped I've even talked to the company they get the part from, they where no help but said the part was in stock and was ready for shipping to my location, but CarID haven't pushed for it, very lack luster in my opinion, if you want your parts faster order somewhere else

I ordered a steering part and they shipped the wrong item. The order taker kept putting me on hold several times because they did not know anything about classic cars or the part I was asking about.. I will bet that my order taker has never even driven a car. My car has been up on a hoist and holding up other vehicles from getting serviced. Now I get an email that says they will not ship me my part until I give them more money to pay for extra shipping,! So whatever total they give you as you place the order, may not be what you end up paying. This is out and out robbery ! I felt like my part was being held as rand some. I was dealing with a call center in the Philippines. The order takers do not know cars. You will be speaking to a call center. I had a terrible experience!!! They just repurchase parts and have a slick website.

Some Ive never complained about customer service before...

Replaced a mirror on my vehicle, shipping was fast installation was quick and easy. Had a basic question about the motor in the mirror as it made a loud sound compared to the other that wasn’t replaced.

I called to see if it was normal. Some foreign customer service lady answers and was extremely rude demanding the mirrors “product number” and insisted she couldn’t help me without it. I informed her the mirror had no product number besides what was on the receipt from ordering. The lady continued to grow upset and stated I was not understanding her and that I needed to call Toyota (my vehicle maker) in order for further assistance.

What? This was so confusing as I brought the product from Carid.

So I get off the phone with this miserable woman and call again and finally speak with someone who assisted me properly. As I regular customer of carid this was very disappointing and makes me consider not buying product from them again if they have reps like this working for them.

Four separate shipping charges

When I placed my order with carid nowhere did it state that they would be shipping from four separate locations and charge a shipping charge for each item purchased. It did not reflect this until I received and email confirmation. When I tried to cancel the order I kept getting looped back to the main page. I could have purchased the parts locally and paid less money. Carid is a scam, don’t use them. You can save money elsewhere.

I have a 2013 3.5 SL Altima that I thought I was going on a road trip when I bought the bra About a year and a half ago.

it turns out I left this year sixth of May 2019. The bra was new in the box although it had been a year and a half since I bought it, it was stored in an air-conditioned space in my home While the total price was $96, the fact that when I did put it on the car it literally came apart at the seams after about four days on the road really pissed me off.

I called carID today and they refused to do anything about it citing that it was past the warranty coverage Apparently LeBra is NOT a quality product… It came apart like a cheap shirt and literally beat my paint to death at highway speed’s. I had to pull into a convenience store in Idaho and borrow a pair of scissors to cut off all the pieces that were coming apart.

This is the worst experience I've ever had! We own a mechanic shop. We order ALOT online to save customers money. When I order this I talked to Johnathan. I gave him the dimension of the wipers and front grille we needed. He put me hold over 5 minutes and said he was calling the Warehouse and have them measure the parts. He came back and advised he had verified they are the dimension we needed. When we received them they are NOT the correct parts. Today I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get a refund. Would you believe they are withholding $10.50 because I refuse to send them pictures of the part #`s that he insisted his suppliers must have packed incorrectly. Who does this? How do you justify this? I will be leaving this review everywhere I can as well as sending it to BBB. This is ridiculous! NEVER ever will buy ANYTHING from you!

As a person who likes to work on his own cars as a hobby, it sometimes takes a while to get around to a project. I always do research before ordering parts, so at the time when I ordered parts from CarId, I felt they were the best parts I could get at the time. Based off of my work schedule, it took me a while to get around to installing them. Immediately upon trying to install them, I see that the fitment is all wrong. THEY SENT ME THE WRONG PARTS. I contact customer service about it several times and they say they can't do anything about it and instead of exchanging it, they try to get me to complete ANOTHER order, like I'm going make the same mistake and trust them with that again… These guys need to fix their parts database and policies, because I selected precisely the correct car, I didn't go to their warehouse and pull the wrong parts and ship it to myself. Never again.
